Junior Faith Tomasula accepted into All-State Treble Chorus

Junior soprano to represent Port Chester at statewide conference

Congratulations to Junior Faith Tomasula, soprano, on her acceptance into the NY All-State Treble Chorus!

Faith earned a perfect score of 100 on her All-State audition last spring and will represent Port Chester among musicians from all over New York at next month's NYSSMA Winter Conference. Following several days of intense rehearsals, Faith will sing with the All-State Treble Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Sharon Hansen from the University of Wisconsin, on Saturday, Dec. 1, at  8 p.m. at the Eastman Theatre in
Rochester.

Faith's exceptional vocal talents were recognized by her music teachers at an early age as she was recommended for the Elementary All-County Chorus in both 5th and 6th grades, and Intermediate
All-County Chorus in 7th and 8th grades. The honors kept coming as she successfully auditioned for Area All-State in 10th grade, leading to a similar acceptance this year as well as the ultimate achievement, All-State recognition.

Faith is often a featured soloist in her school concerts and musical productions. Her school music teachers have been Kristin Fleming at King St. School, Mark Zizolfo at Port Chester Middle School and now Linda Ventura at Port Chester High School.
