Step 1: Get An Application for an Absentee Ballot
Applications for Absentee Ballots are available in the District Clerk's office located in the Central Administration Office at 113 Bowman Avenue on Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and may be picked up by the voter or his/her representative. Applications can also be downloaded here.
The last day to apply by mail for an Absentee Ballot is Tuesday May 9, 2017. Completed applications should be mailed to the District Clerk, Port Chester Schools, P.O. Box 246, Port Chester, NY 10573.
The last day to apply in person for an Absentee Ballot is Monday May 15, 2017
Step 2: Receive and Submit an Absentee Ballot
Once the application is reviewed and accepted, an Absentee Ballot will be issued. Completed and signed ballots may be mailed to the District Clerk, Port Chester Schools, P.O. Box 246, Port Chester, NY 10573, or they can be hand delivered by the voter or his/her representative to the District Clerk's Office at 113 Bowman Avenue.
In order for the ballot to be counted, it must be received in the District Clerk's office or dropped in the ballot box in the Port Chester Middle School gym no later than 5:00 PM on the day of the vote: Tuesday May 16, 2017.
